Department of Electrical Engineering

The department of Electrical Engineering is established at 1431 H. It is one of the oldest departments in Buraydah colleges.

The department includes 10 teaching staff (1) Professor, (4) Associate Professors, (4) Assistant Professors, and (1) Lecturer. The department is also equipped with highly efficient laboratories that cover all requirements for programs and the latest technologies, ensuring full public safety for students. Such as power system lab, Electric machines lab, communication lab, control lab, and microprocessor lab.

In addition to the training laboratory for students who participated in a training course.

Program Degree is: “Bachelor of Electrical Engineering”.

Electrical engineers are essential to almost every industry. It is, in fact, difficult to imagine a modern industry without the services of Electrical engineers. Electrical engineering has been and continues to be a cornerstone of every new technical development.

The job of Electrical engineers usually involves design, feasibility studies, cost analysis studies, installation, operation, and maintenance of plants, processes, or equipment. The focus of the Electrical Engineering department is teaching, community service, and research. The department faculty recognizes the need to provide the graduating engineer with the appropriate background in order to meet the challenges and large demands of a fast-growing country such as the Kingdom.
