Buraidah colleges obtained the initial license in 1426 AH and began studying in the second semester of 1428/1429 AH at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences for Girls, and a university city was established on King Abdulaziz Road east of Qassim University with an area of ​​250 thousand square meters and the project includes a number of facilities Like:

1. College buildings number 8 main buildings in addition to a special building for laboratories, laboratories, and dental clinics equipped with the latest medical devices.
2. A central public library containing mothers of books, scientific references, periodicals, and the digital library.
3. An integrated physical therapy center with all its equipment for treating sports injuries and physical disabilities, and a special section for the elderly and children.
4. Restaurants and cafeterias for male and female college and community students.
5. A computer network covering all project facilities equipped with the Internet.
6. A conference and seminar hall equipped with all services and audio-visual equipment.
7. Halls equipped with direct broadcasting to communicate with the female student's section.
8. Sports stadiums and halls for holding sports competitions and other individual and group activities.
9. Laboratories, laboratories, and workshops equipped with the latest technology.
10. Medical clinics to care for male and female students.

So it was created for the following purposes:

• Providing the opportunity for the people of the homeland and residents to continue their university studies according to their desires and capabilities.
