Message of the Director
The Department of Laboratories
and Equipment, with the continuous support of the senior management of the
colleges always seek to achieve excellence and creativity by developing their
apparatus, equipment, and laboratory environment in a way that supports its
scientific academic programs and supports the strategic orientations and vision
of the colleges.
We face challenges with our
positive energy and successive innovations to add new things to colleges
efficiently and proficiently, and we are committed to responding quickly in
providing services, developing them, and continuously improving them to achieve the the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
In the end, the Department of
Laboratories and Equipment hopes to be in the first place in providing all
means of comfort, safety and reaching the satisfaction of the final the beneficiary, as it is a goal and a measure of performance through the most
prominent works, efforts, and projects are undertaken by the employees of the
administration, asking God Almighty to succeed in the coming years.

Vision
Work to achieve the faculties ’vision of being at the
forefront of prestigious colleges in the educational and research fields by
providing the latest equipment of a Typical labs that meet the requirements for
academic accreditation.
Mission
Reaching all faculties' laboratories to the highest level of
scientific equipment through the development of the applied aspect in the
educational and research process and organize the use of technical, laboratory
and scientific capabilities and expertise in the laboratories to interact with
the current and future needs of the colleges.
Goals
- Achieve the vision and mission of the colleges to be in the
ranks of competing colleges in all educational, research and scientific
services fields.
- providing the best and latest equipment for laboratories in
a typical manner that meets the requirements for academic accreditation in
coordination with the competent authorities.
- Work to provide security and safety for students and
laboratory staff.
- Preparing a scientific study for the optimal use of laboratories.
- Work to improve student performance using modern technologies and information technology in practical applications in laboratories and laboratories.
- Enable students to benefit from the capabilities and
equipment of the laboratories.
Objectives
- Preparing studies on the faculties' needs of
laboratories, support devices, and software in coordination with the scientific
departments.
- Supervising the laboratory equipment in the
faculty’s laboratory, in coordination with the scientific departments.
- Follow-up of companies regarding the supply
of scientific devices in coordination with the scientific departments.
- Follow up with the relevant authorities
regarding the maintenance and operation of scientific devices.
- Follow up the establishment of central
laboratories in the college in coordination with the scientific departments.
- Working on setting development plans for the
faculties' laboratories in coordination with the scientific departments.
- Supervising all laboratory data.
- Preparing periodic reports on the activities
of laboratories.
- Supervising the provision of human resources,
whether (technicians or staff) as much as possible, according to the needs of
laboratories.
- Periodic follow-up and inspection of
laboratories on a regular basis.
- Determine the colleges' needs for computers and their requirements
Department Sections
Laboratory supplies section of chemical and glass materials
Providing consumable materials such as chemicals and
glassware, as well as scientific devices and specialized and accurate tools,
checking requests for chemical materials and glassware received from the
departments, and general supervision of chemical materials recycling, and
following up with the permanent committee for the prevention of chemical
pollution to get rid of expired chemicals and empty chemical containers.

The project aims to develop safe
sterilization policies and procedures to combat infection and improve
performance among all workers and students in clinics, and assist colleges
administration in maintaining the requirements for adopting regulations such as
the Ministry of Education, the Academic Accreditation Center, the Joint
Commission International and the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Health
Facilities.

policies and procedures for prosthesis
laboratory in colleges and equip it with all the equipment and devices
necessary to provide dental services in various measurements, models to meet
the demand of dental students according to the need of their patients in this
field and improve performance among all workers and students in clinics and
help the college's management to maintain Regulations approval requirements such
as the Ministry of Education and the Center for Academic Accreditation.

working policies and procedures in clinics and radiology rooms in colleges and
equip them with the technology of modern advanced digital systems to provide
highly accurate diagnostic and therapeutic services as these devices can save
radiological images in special programs that enable students and doctors to
simulate oral surgeries before starting them in order to predict what will be.
The results of these surgeries and refer to them when needed, and to improve
the performance of all employees, students and patient in the clinics, as it is
an important step for the advancement of the educational and therapeutic
process, the development of scientific research, and the help of colleges
management in maintaining the requirements for adopting regulations such as the
Ministry of Education and the Academic Accreditation Center.

policies and procedures for working in the anatomy lab in colleges and equip it
with modern digital technology, "Digital Interactive Anatomy Table",
which is a table that simulates a regular anatomy table to provide detailed and
accurate anatomical services, as this table can display three-dimensional
images of the body, which allows an easy and comprehensive understanding of the
human body Helping students to interactive learning and self-direction and
encouraging them to make a peer presentation guided by the class goals given to
them, and to improve performance among students and faculty members, as it is
considered an important step for the advancement of the anatomical educational
process in terms of benefit and comprehensiveness, saving time and effort,
developing scientific research, and helping the college administration in
maintaining the requirements of Adoption of regulations such as the Ministry of
Education and the Academic Accreditation Center.
