Welcome to College of Engineering and Information Technology
The College of Engineering and Information Technology at Buraydah Colleges is distinguished by its ability to go beyond teaching its students the curriculum. Rather, it seeks to expand their horizons, knowledge, and experience through a scientific environment that facilitates interaction with highly qualified professors, state-of-the-art laboratories, and advanced curricula accredited by the world's most prestigious universities. Scientific research at the College of Engineering and Information Technology will focus on strategic areas of importance to the Kingdom, the region, and the world as a whole. The College of Engineering was designed to accommodate 1500 undergraduate students, with a ratio of one faculty member for every 20 students. Furthermore, the college boasts modern and advanced facilities. The College of Engineering's faculty members were selected according to the highest scientific and academic standards, and are highly qualified and recognized as pioneers in scientific and educational research in the world

And to be a leading college in the field of scientific research. The college includes two departments: - Electrical Engineering Department, Computer Engineering Department.

Foundation of the college was to play an important and essential role in preparing well-qualified engineers with both academic and practice considering the need of the local development. Curriculum and specializations of the college were selected and built to satisfy the international and national standard requirements. Hence, the graduates will satisfy the local society requirement and the need for the industry in Saudi Arabia. The college looks forward to providing the students with a well-balanced mix of hands-on education with a strong theoretical foundation that allows graduates to function effectively and confidently in the workplace. Our curricula in core engineering and applied science disciplines, combined with strong interdisciplinary coursework, internships in the field, extracurricular activities, and research opportunities, enable our graduates to remain a step ahead of the competition in today’s crowded job market.

Message of the Vice Dean
Dr. Emad Ahmed Hussein Abdelkarim

The college was established to play an important and essential role in preparing the academic cadres and competencies in an academic and practical preparation in the various engineering fields in a way that is compatible with the requirements of development locally through active participation with the community institutions.
During the selection and construction of its specialisations, the college observed the achievement of basic international standards in addition to achieving the requirements of the local community and the labour market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the primary criterion that the college seeks to achieve.
The college strives to provide a balanced mix of practical training with a strong theoretical basis for students that allows graduates to work effectively and confidently in the workplace. Teaching a basic curriculum in engineering and computers, going hand in hand with courses and workshops with multiple specialities, in addition to summer training in the workplace, with an interest in extracurricular activities, providing research opportunities for academics and their support, and enabling graduates to take an additional step forward from competition in the market's busy work today by providing them with a set of skills added to their major speciality.
The college is striving to achieve academic accreditation for its engineering programs, which requires preparing integrated plans to evaluate and develop the college’s level of performance, in addition to applying quality standards and academic accreditation in various engineering programs. It is also keen on serving the local community through conducting applied research, providing engineering consultancy,
for the public and private sectors and organising training courses and specialised workshops that serve the engineering sector in the region.
