The course represents the orientation phase to the discipline of fixed prosthodontics. It provides a structured framework for the students to learn the scientific basis and the fundamental principles of planning and restoration of missing or badly damaged teeth with fixed restoration, temporary crowns, and bridges, impressions for fixed prosthodontics, occlusion in fixed prosthodontics. The student will have gathered extensive knowledge of the varied preclinical exercises and laboratory procedures concerned with fixed prostheses fabrication.
